This position is located at Warner Robins, Georgia and will support advanced manufacturing programs for sustainment activities. The position will serve as the lab technician for the additive manufacturing lab, including part setup and generation, equipment/lab maintenance, consumable and spare parts procurement, while adhering to lab and equipment guidelines. The successful candidate will understand additive manufacturing techniques and provide guidance on design for manufacturability, equipment and part set up and part processing. The majority of work will support government customers, but some industry partners will be supported as well.

Minimum Qualifications

-Associates degree in technology field
-Minimum of 3 years directly related technology experience
-Minimum of 2 years of experience in additive manufacturing or conventional machining operations for metals
-Demonstrated experience with operating additive manufacturing equipment or other numerical control equipment
-Attention to detail
-Due to the nature of this position, US citizenship is required
-Valid driver’s license with low risk driving record

Preferred Qualifications

-2+ years of experience in additive manufacturing or conventional machining operations for metals
-1+ years of experience in operating additive manufacturing for metals equipment
-Demonstrated experience with lab environments and adherence to lab policies & procedures
-Demonstrated experience with various CAD/CAM software packages
-Experience in interacting with design engineers and other technical personnel
-Effective interpersonal communication skills
-Effective verbal communication skills with team members at all levels
-Demonstrated organizational skills

Work Hours

Variable Hours, but typically M-F, 8AM-5PM
