This position is located at Warner Robins, Georgia. The candidate is required to design, create specifications and install cold spray
and supporting systems, and create facility guides for cold spray system
installations at customer sites; create initial spray parameters and automated
process paths of cold spray system, develop manufacturing process and
parameters for hardware identified through the cold spray team, validate process
and create process documentation; have ownership of installation of all facility
utility requirements and the entire manufacturing process (cold spray, post
processing etc.); lead technicians’ daily activities for installation and development
of cold spray process and lead/own manufacturing schedule of hardware flowing
through the process, and serve as a manufacturing expert of all equipment and
processes for cold spray; and teach courses in the areas of thermal sciences,
engineering design for manufacture and other fundamental courses in chemical,
materials, mechanical or manufacturing engineering within UD’s school of

Minimum Qualifications

The candidate must have a U.S. Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in
Chemical, Materials, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or related field as
well as three (3) years of experience in facility build from ground up for a
production/manufacturing process including component/equipment selection,
commissioning, design of facility layout and process operations optimization and

Preferred Qualifications

1. Able to create, read and interpret models, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports. Working knowledge of GD&T standards.
2. Able to prioritize tasks, work efficiently and maintain discipline in order to meet deadlines.
3. Has been responsible for operating and maintenance of facility, equipment
4. Developed policies, procedures and standards in maintaining lab safety.
5. Working knowledge of Microsoft windows, office, project, Access.
6. Experience in process documentation and process development.
7. Data acquisition from online and off line systems
8. Technical and operations leadership for projects / tasks.
