Greeting and assisting visitors, issuing permits to the University community, enforcing parking rules and regulations, issuing parking citations, impounding vehicles, assisting motorists and transporting disabled students

Position Summary Information

Minimum Qualifications

One Year experience with customer service and/or public relations.
Experience working independently.
Experience effectively dealing with conflict and complaints
Effective written communication skills
Physically able to perform the duties of the position including stooping, lifting, and walking/standing for hours in all kinds of weather
Possess a valid driver’s license, low risk driving record and ability to operate a vehicle in all weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

Two plus years demonstrated successful experience with customer service and public relations
Prior experience in parking/traffic enforcement in a University setting.
Ability to make judgmental decisions based on the situation and applicable regulation
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively using a two-way radio, and face-to-face with customers
Effective interpersonal communication skills.

Work Hours

8.0 Hours per Day. 11:15 am to 7:45 pm
