To hire a tenure-track person at the Assistant or Associate Professor level with the demonstrated ability to teach advanced accounting courses at the undergraduate and graduate (masters) levels, and the ability to conduct appropriate research and engage in service activities.

Minimum Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to teach advanced accounting courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Candidates must meet, and have the ability to maintain Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) business and accounting accreditation requirements for “Scholarsly Academic” (SA) status.
Must be at least ABD (completed all course and comprehensive exam requirements for a PhD) in accounting (or equivalent) at an AACSB or EQUIS accredited institution.
Must have a relevant professional certification (e.g. CPA, CMA) or relevant professional experience.
Strong writing skills. Must have strong writing skills.
To qualify as Associate, candidates must meet all previously specified requirements, hold a PhD in accounting (or equivalent) at an AACSB or EQUIS accredited institution, and have a demonstrated successful record of research, teaching and service.

Preferred Qualifications

PhD in accounting (or equivalent) from an AACSB and/or EQUIS accredited institution.
Ability to teach in multiple areas, and relevant university teaching experience .
Experience mentoring students and/or staff from diverse backgrounds.
Demonstrated collegiality, ability to work collaboratively, and good interpersonal skills are essential to working with constituents across campus (i.e., faculty, staff, students and administration).
Effective, demonstrated verbal skills.
