POSITION SUMMARY

High School Tutors needed for the Upward Bound Program. Grant funded position. Subjects include Math, Science, Language Arts, Social Studies, ACT/SAT Prep, College readiness. This position also requires a driver’s license and vehicle to travel to Dayton Public High Schools. Mileage reimbursement.

Minimum Qualifications

A minimum of 60 hours of coursework on the undergraduate level (Junior or Senior classification) completed with coursework in tutor subject area.

Preferred Qualifications

*Previous volunteer/work experience with high school students.
*Previous experience in an urban school setting.
*Previous experience with a TRIO/Upward Bound Program.

Work Hours

Mondays 3:00-4:30pm
Tuesdays 3:00-4:30pm
Wednesdays 4:00-5:30pm
Some Saturdays
