Provide sustainment engineering leadership for USAF landing gear systems. Determine root causes of failures, conceive solutions, determine best solution (trade off technical, cost, logistics, implementation, and other critical factors), and conduct design, engineering analysis, and testing to develop and vet the solution. Work with USAF to ensure airworthiness, and develop all required technical data (JEDMICS drawings, Technical Orders, etc.) to transition the solution into the USAF logistics and maintenance system.

Minimum Qualifications

BS in Engineering

8 years of landing gear experience, including landing gear structures, materials and processes, rolling stock (wheels, brakes, etc.), and/or anti-skid.

Preferred Qualifications

10 years of landing gear experience preferred, including landing gear structures, materials and processes, rolling stock (wheels, brakes, etc.), and/or anti-skid.

Advanced degree from ABET accredited engineering program
