This individual is responsible for pre- and post-award support to the University of Dayton academic research portfolio will be working with a team in the Office for Academic Research to further funded research across the six academic units of the University. This position serves as a crucial link between Principal Investigators, sponsors, and other stakeholders, taking the lead on compliance, budget formulation, and sponsored research compliance. Collaborating closely with faculty, Deans, Associate Deans, Academic Research Support Staff, and the Vice President for Academic Research, this position oversees pre-award support, grant negotiation and award, resolution of post-award issues, and support for project close-out. Additionally, this role extends to managing academic subawards received by University of Dayton, including subaward and subrecipient agreements received from industry or other universities. This position performs supervisory responsibilities for sponsored research support personnel.
