This entry-level position will be responsible for working, as part of a diverse and skilled technical team, to write and test image processing algorithms in high-level languages, and to develop and test signal processing algorithms from concept to implementation.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Completed Bachelor’s Degree by June 2017
2. Familiarity with modern Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) and software compilers on Windows and Linux platforms
3. Due to the nature of this position, U.S. Citizenship is required
4. Eligibility to obtain a United States SECRET clearance (or higher) is required for ongoing employment in this position

Preferred Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
2. Demonstrated successful experience (academic or professional) developing software using C, C++ and/or Java
3. Demonstrated, successful experience (academic or professional) programming in algorithm-level languages such as Matlab/Simulink, Python or similar
4. Familiarity with image processing and compression theory
5. Familiarity with parallel programming using languages such as OpenCL and/or CUDA
6. Familiarity with synthetic aperture radar (SAR), hyperspectral, and/or EO/IR imaging in the context of remote sensing
7. Demonstrated, effective interpersonal skills
8. Active US SECRET (or higher) clearance
