POSITION SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to carry out nano carbon based research with an emphasis on processing and charcaterization.

Minimum Qualifications

PhD in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science and physics with good experience in the processing and characterization of carbon based materials which includes traditional and novels carbon artifacts.

Preferred Qualifications

Expertise in carbon processing of grapehene, nanotubes, chemical deposition and infiltration of composites, carbon foams, liquid crystals, carbon fibers.

Knowledge of energy related applications such as suspercapaciance and lithium batteries.

M-F 8:30am-4:30pm
